Hello again, Happy August to everyone. July was a busy month, in the garden and with the writing, but we had some happy outings too. One lovely afternoon was spent visiting the lavender fields at Lordington, near Chichester. It was a wonderful sight.
Am now busy finishing the arrangements for the Selsey Meet the Authors afternoon which will take place on August 19th this year. Nineteen authors will be there and we hope many of you will come along to St Peters Hall in Selsey and meet them. If you want to get that special person in your life an extra special present, then how about a signed copy of their favourite authors book? Mostly though we hope you will come and browse, spend some time chatting with the authors, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, some cake or biscuits and simply have a lovely afternoon. There will be a raffle too and some entertainment during the afternoon. Neil Somerville is doing the entertainment spot this year and it is called, Mysteries of the Mind. Hope to see some of you there. 2 - 4pm on Tuesday August 19th. Will include the flyer with some of the authors names on for you to see who is taking part. Happy writing. Joan. PS.
